Bullying
Everyday, Everywhere it happens
It happens to us all
Short, Tall, Pretty, Ugly
Popular or shamed
All sorts of reasons, all sorts of excuses
The clothes you wear To the style of your hair
Your height, Your weight, the way you smell
Being called names
Or shoved into a locker once
Maybe twice
A physical pummeling
A spoken slashing
Emotional scars forever like fresh cuts
A few bruises here and there
Oh hush who would actually care
A secret pain
Bruises hidden by makeup and clothes
Verbal abuse hidden by tear stains on the pages
Of journals and the cases of pillows
Bullying
Did they not tell
Or
Did no one listen
Everyday, Everywhere it happens
